Michele Zago

Born in Venice in 1978, graduated with honors in Architecture from IUAV, where he met and studied with prominent figures in the world of architecture, such as Gregotti, Ferlenga, and Magnani.

From 2002 to 2004, he collaborated with Carlo Magnani in Venice on large-scale projects, including the MoSE, the Ferrara city plan, and several public buildings. From 2005 to 2013, he worked in Lugano with Luca Gazzaniga on numerous projects, refining his architectural language, which is rooted in the desire to merge the principles of the Venetian school with the archetypes of Swiss and Ticinese architecture.

In 2015, he completed his training by specializing in construction supervision at SUPSI – The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland. During these years, he not only deepened his knowledge in construction management and project management but also continued and refined his research on living spaces, focusing on villas, hospitality, and collective housing.

In 2018, he founded michele zago architetti, a studio specializing in the design of residential buildings, architecture in mountainous and alpine contexts, and urban reuse and regeneration.

Michele Zago is invited to conferences, seminars, and workshops in Italy and Switzerland. Registered REG A - OTIA

ArchiCrew is a group of enthusiastic and passionate architects. They design, plan, manage and direct the studio.

From the beginning, the crew has included Monica Zanoni, senior architect and head of executive design, project management, and construction supervision; Elisa Beretta, an architect with international experience specializing in managing German speaking projects, from initial studies to architectural and construction details; and Valeria Mastranzo, an architect who oversees executive design and construction supervision.

Marco Pesta, architect, scenographerr, and digital entrepreneur, manages marketing, communication strategy, and branding.

Over the years, the group has expanded with other architects, partners, and collaborators who manage specific projects and specialize in highly contextualized fields: among them, landscape design, urban planning, interior design, executive planning, construction supervision, and project management.
